Shipping Costs

It’s come to our attention that our automated shipping calculator is prone to overcharging at checkout, particularly when a customer has more than one item in their cart. Our policy when we notice a shipping overcharge is to automatically refund the difference between what our customers were charged and the actual cost of shipping, which we will always continue to do. However, we’ve noticed that sometimes the estimated shipping cost is prohibitively expensive.

While we continue to work on improving our shipping calculations, we encourage shoppers encountering high shipping costs to reach out to us at hello@cherche-la.com for a prompt and accurate shipping quote.

Fulfillment & Shipping

We usually take 3-5 business days to process and ship an order. Thank you for your patience, we are a tiny business!

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your order details. 

There may be slight processing delays during sales, holidays, and other high volume fulfillment periods. If you have any questions or special requests regarding alternate shipping options, rates, or delivery times, please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@cherche-la.com

Once an item has been shipped, Cherche is not responsible if the item is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Cherche uses USPS Priority Mail shipping for most orders. If you prefer an alternative method of shipping, please contact us at hello@cherche-la.com

If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in shipment, a claim must be filed with the shipping service provider, not with Cherche. If a package shows it has been delivered through the tracking number and the customer is unable to locate their package, Cherche is not responsible and will not issue a refund or store credit.

Local Pickup - Los Angeles

While we try to keep shipping costs affordable, furniture pieces and particularly fragile items require a more custom packaging and shipping process to ensure a safe delivery. At this time, we are not equipped to process those items ourselves, so we only offer local pickup. However, if you are completely in love with a “Local Pickup Only” piece and would like to request a shipping quote or are curious about local delivery in the LA area, please email us at hello@cherche-la.com and we will do our best to accommodate.

International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within the United States. If you live abroad and are in love with a particular piece, please reach out to us at hello@cherche-la.com and we will try to accommodate your shipping request.

Returns

All of our items are final sale - we do not accept returns. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item with photos and a description of the issue. We reserve the right to deny any requests for returns or refunds.
